All the interventions-which are rehabilitation, restoration, new construction, outdoor spaces, ephemeral architecture, are rooted in a context, in the existing elements. Interventions concerning heritage are based on a deep historical and technical knowledge of the building. New construction looks atthe city, the country, the socio-cultural context, and the responses to its program.
For each of these works, knowledge, research and work together with specialized professionals allow us to propose completely contemporary responses.
Since 2005, our experience in the field of rehabilitation and heritage, together with theoretical foundations, have allowed us to develop a working method based on:
- A profound respect and knowledge of the building and its context,
- The reversibility of the intervention,
- The physical and chemical compatibility of the materials and construction systems with materials and construction systems of the building,
- The relevance of a contemporary intervention.
Jorge Palluel Portal and Claire, with the hope of finding the quality and relevance of interventions, work on studies and projects in historic buildings, new constructions and housing renovations, in ephemeral architecture, and interior design.
The theoretical works, research, publications, and conferences complete the fieldwork.
